Another batch of Hobbit dwarves. Is that all of them yet? I don’t even know. This group is Bofur, Bombur and Bifur. So Yea, except for Thorin Oakenshield all these dwarves have horrible, horrible names. I know Tolkien is the father of all fantasy literature but still…horrible, horrible names.

I maintain that none of the dwarves are fully-bearded enough to call themselves dwarves, but at least they remembered that Bombur was grossly fat. Oh well.
Grossly fat?! I thought he was the most dwarvish of the bunch! On a side note, “Grossly Phat!” is my rapper name!
I’m thinkin’ Thorin will be the dwarfiest.
remember, the hobbit was a children’s book, so i think the motivation for the names was for them to be silly and entertaining; that’s probably why a lot of them rhymed.
have we seen balin yet? he was one of the more notable dwarves. he was very old and later, tried to recapture moria.
