Well I spent a bit of time trying to come up with a witty name for the blog here at The Saga. Wanting it to both relate to the character of Samuel and random writings I played around with things like “The Samuel Chronicles” or “The Saga Scroll”. I even briefly entertained just calling it “The Blog of Samuel”. After plugging in a variety of words into an online thesaurus and/or dictionary I came upon the words “passing sentence” and I knew I had my name. It works like this see..Samuel was a Judge of Ancient Israel and while it’s not quite the same as a modern court of law judge it wasn’t all that different either so I’m sure sentences were passed. That’s the first meaning of the name, then you have the blog which, really, is just a bunch of sentences someone reads in passing. So..huuzzah! When I recovered from the absolute brillance of the name, I patted myself on the back and whipped up a logo for it. Works for me.

Oh my gosh I get it. “Passing Sentences…” very tongue-in-cheek. I like the logo. Much better than mine. Though mine is good in a minimalistic way. Whatever.
So when are we gunna see issue 1? Hmm???
No issues here. We do pages at The Saga. Updates are gonna be random at first till I can streamline my process. I’m not worried about regular updates at this point.
